Goodbye #10
For my last, and final post, I am going to give gratitude to all of my friend gods, goddesses, and Monkey King, lets face it, I really do not like Monkey King... at all. I would like to share with you all a little thing I learned from each god or goddess. Thank you to Artemis the Greek goddess of hunting. I never knew that your aunt Hera hated you so much! I also can't believe Freyja the Norse goddess of fertility can shape shift into a falcon. Guan Yin, the Chinese goddess of love and compassion, never leaves anyone behind! She has to really love everyone to help out Monkey King. Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of love, music, dance, motherhood (etc.), is associated with the Milky Way. The Jade Emperor, the Chinese god and ruler of the heavens, and I have well, lets just say history, so I knew a lot about him, but one thing I didn't know was that he was a sign of good fortune. I finally got to meet Komorkis, the Native American goddess of the moon. She was so delightful and I am really glad she brings the light to the night along with coolness and moisture. Loki the cunning trickster, actually was never born a god! He was a giant that worked his way up to being one. Did you know that the Egyptian goddess of truth, justice, and order; Maat, never gives second chances. I find that pretty crazy. Nut the Egyptian goddess of the sky, is sometimes portrayed as a cow just like Hathor. Pandora, the Greek goddess, who was the first mortal woman. She was only sent down to destroy all of mankind. Raven, the trickster god, also a creator god, was actually pure white but turned black after escaping from a fire and getting colored by the black smoke. Now, Odin, the Norse god of wisdom and death. He has ravens that fly around the world everyday to give him information. Rhea, the the Greek goddess of mountains and wildlife, has lions that pull her chariot. Sekhmet, the goddess of vengeance, war, and healing is actually the other half of Hathor. They are two souls in one body. Thor is the Norse god of thunder, the sky, and fertility. He is the son of Odin and the protector of Asgard. Glispa, is the Native American goddess of healing. One time, Glispa had to sing a song to heal the chief of the tribe, but when that particular song was sang, a different life had to be lost; which is what happened. Balder is the Norse god of light and purity. His brother is Thor and his father is Odin. Which I've never known before, obviously because I am not a part of Norse mythology, thankfully. Chang-e is the Chinese goddess of the moon. Chang-e is very curious and sometimes lets it get he best of her. Thank you for tuning into my blog every night. I will continue to watch my people from Mt. Kunlun. Goodbye for now.
