I am Xi- Wangmu, you may also know me as Queen of the Mother West, or Spirit Mother of the West. No one knows my beginning or my end; that is something I prefer to keep to myself. I live in the West of Asia, in the Kunlun Mountains. I am the owner of the beautiful colossal tree, which produces immortal peaches. My tree is also the margin between heaven and Earth. These delectably supple peaches only ripen every 3,000 years. My family well, that is an irrelevant topic at the moment. I do however, love to wear my headdress, which may be known to you, as my victory crown or my ancient Sheng. I also carry my gorgeous staff wherever I go. My azure birds, bring me berries and other foods upon my mountain pavilion. My birds also accompany me when I descend down to visit my peoples. Remember, I am the only one that can grant you the elixir of immortality.
If I may ask Xi-Wangmu, why are you the only one that can grant other the elixir of immortality? Is there some special trait that you posses that gives only you the power to do so?
ReplyDeleteSekhmet, I am the only one that can grant the elixir of immortality because I am the queen of the immortals. The immortal peaches I use to make my elixir are from my own immortal peaches and so I am the only one who can give the gift of immortality. Thank you for asking.
